Edo Competition Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution

Compared to the original Enzo, the XX Evolution has a 6.3 litre V12 upgraded from 6.0-litres, new camshafts, modified cylinder heads, titanium valve spring retainers and connecting rods, high flow catalytic converters, mufflers and air filters and new high performance exhaust headers. The transmission's shift times were also upgraded to 60 milliseconds - 20 milliseconds less than an F1 car and using lighter drive shafts. The car makes 618kW (840hp) and maximum torque of (575 ft-lb) at 5,800rpm.Performance figures are 0 - 100km in 3.2 seconds, 200km (124mph) in 9 seconds and 300km in 19 seconds. They decided to go to the professor and tell him that they had a flat tire.The professor hears the story, smiles, and says "Ok, just come in tomorrow to take the test."

They ran home excited because they had tricked the professor.The next day, they went to the professor and he handed each of them a test and put them in four separate rooms.

It was a two question test, get one wrong, and you fail.They each saw the first question and smiled because it was such an easy question.

They each turned the page, excited that everything was going very well for them.

The second question was: "Which tire was flat?"

With Windows 7 update coming along the way, who knows how many blue screens the idea department at Microsoft is getting. Microsoft decided to look elsewhere for ideas by looking at other competitors, and what a coincidence they chose Apple.

They now decided to open a Microsoft store, which in the recent weeks they have been poaching Apple employees to work for them, giving existing Retail managers and Sales Reps added raises and bonuses. Instead of "Genuis" bars there is going to be "Guru" bars specifically designed for problem-related issues. They will sell Zunes to Xbox 360s, as well as third party software and Xbox Games.

I can tell there is going to be line-ups for this opening because there is so many problems with Vista, their going to have to open a two-storey store to house all the problems. Lets hope they fix this problem.

Dancing Elephants and Public Displays!

A statue of a dancing elephant, modeled after the Hindu god Ganesh, was erected in the Calgary Zoo in front of the Asian elephant exhibit. As you might imagine, the non-charity Christian Groups started their waterworks. Boohoo, the zoo is showing "selective religious partiality."

The zoo maintains that the elephant isn't there as a religious symbol; it's just there to show the connection between elephants and Asian culture. The visitors love it on many different levels, and the CBC has a quote from a Christian woman saying that it doesn't offend her at all. ... I, however, disagree.

The next time I see anything with any kind of religious connotation, I am going to knock it over. I invite all you, Toronto, to join me. This winter, let's take down some Christmas trees - I know of a big one that'll be up in Eaton Centre if we don't get there first! Oh, and Kwanza would be coming up, too; can't let them get away with public displays of religious celebration. Oh, sweet Satan, Diwali is coming soon - those Hindus never stop, do they? ... Oh. Halloween. A horrendous celebration of traditions derived from many religions. Toronto, for your own good, kick over as many pumpkins as you can. ... Urgh. I'm being sarcastic, eh? Don't kick my pumpkin.

You would think Concerned Christians of Canada would have better things to be concerned about. You know, there's been a startling lack of Jesus faces appearing on grilled cheese sandwiches. Why don't you guys go do something about that?

The phone will hit shelves sans-WiFi (EV-DO Rev. A only here), with 8GB of storage onboard (a nice bump up from the rumored 4GB), 2 megapixel camera (with flash), a full QWERTY keyboard, and a minute, 2.63-inch, 320 x 400 capacitive display.

Instead of a center button, Palm has made the middle of the gesture area (part of its capacitive coating) take on the duty. The target is represented by a small, white slit, and the same gestures that webOS is known for seem to work flawlessly around it. While the screen gets 80 pixels lopped off compared with the Pre (and the iPhone, G1, Hero, and Storm, to name a few), it looked clean and crisp to us. The responsiveness on the main part of the display was just as tight -- if not tighter -- than the Pre, and that's a plus. Of course, webOS makes clever use of the cramped space by squashing card and app sizes down to fit. It's a tremendous example of the UI's literal scalability.

...that we're so addicted to this stuff. Celebrities behaving badly - it's like the cheapest, most available, most nerdiest drug. And we're all addicts. I believe there might be a rehab facility under some rock somewhere. But don't take my word for it.

Have you noticed how we tend to bask in the apologies of the A List? It's probably why being bad is also the best publicity stunt. With the exception of Chris Brown (who we will NEVER forgive. Clean out all the stables you want, Chris; it will get you nowhere.), celebrities' public oopsies are done with a purpose. Come on, do you really believe Kanye loves Beyonce's video above all else? Kanye's the classic bully your first-grade teacher Mrs. Smith used to talk about - "He's just doing it for attention. Ignore him and he'll go away."

Speaking of which, now that the hype of VMAs incident has died down a decibel and everyone's more focussed on the victim (poor Taylor!), where is Kanye West? Off laying low, taking a break somewhere? Ah, so to quote Mrs. Smith: "Ignore them. They'll go away."

But, seriously, do we really want them to go away? Didn't think so. Be bad, celebs, be bad... I feel incredibly high and mighty, judging you.

Attack of the Android...Phones.

For those of you that have never heard of ANDROID, it is a mobile operating system running on the Linux kernel. It was initially developed by Google and later the Open Handset Alliance. It allows developers to write managed code in the Java language, controlling the device via Google-developed Java libraries. Basically, ANDROID allows for complete customization of your phone. As of now HTC is the only phone company to implement the ANDROID software in North America, but Motorola and Sony Ericsson are both prepared to launch their own Android Phones.

Motorola Recently showcased its new Cliq aka BLUR for T-Mobile, the phone features 3G and WiFi connections, a 5MP camera, and a full HTML Web Browser (Motorola). The Cliq also has the ability to sync your Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace accounts and updates them in real time. In the Future, except to see several new Android Phones including the Motorola Sholes rumored to be the most powerful Android Phone yet, Check it out at Phandroid . As well as phones from Sony Ericsson (Apparently they are waiting for the Android 2.0 Software and more Multimedia support before they release anything).

I have never really been a fan of the Android phones not so much because of the OS itself, but because of the fact that if you pile on too many applications the phone will run extremely slow (likewise for the iPhone/Touch, but no one can mess with apple at least not until these androids are released). I think for now I'll stick to my BlackBerry, but who knows maybe we'll see an android blackberry (please RIM)

Canadian Customers interested in Android should check out the Rogers HTC Dream and HTC Magic. Both are available now and are selling for relatively cheap prices.

If you haven't heard by now, you must be living under a rock. Reports are out claiming that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are planning to walk down the aisle together. Although no one will actually confirm these reports, inside sources say that the two are already talking about rings. The pair stepped out together on September 3rd and had reportedly "hit it off." Now my math may be a bit off but these two went from a from a first date to marriage thoughts in only 15 days. God only knows how long it will be when we find out she's pregnant because with the way things work in hollywood, people seem to work backwards. I mean Kourtney is already pregnant so what's one more right? They get pregnant first and then decide to get married after, as if it was planned this way. Who wants to take bets on how long this will last?

Greatest Throw Ever

So a Phillies fan catches a foul ball (any baseball fan would tell you how big an accomplishment that is), and he hands it to his three-year-old daughter, who promptly throws the ball back over the balcony. The look on her daddy's face was undescribable before he hugged her good-naturedly. It was truly the most cutest, most heart-warming moment in baseball history... Maybe she was trying out for pitcher?

One Big Happy Family

Enjoy your first look at the newest addition of Katherine Heigl's family, Baby Naleigh. Katherine seems to have taken a page out of Angelina Jolie's book by taking on foreign adoption. Baby Naleigh is only 10 months old and was adopted from South Korea. Katherine has a close connection with Korea given that her sister was also adopted from there.  Little do you know that Naleigh is named after Katherine's sister Nancy and her sister Margaret Leigh. Her name has since been changed to Nancy Leigh. Normally I'm not a fan of celebrities going into foreign adoption because I've always felt they do it more for their celebrity status than the child. What I didn't know was that Katherine and her husband, Josh Kelly, have been preparing for this since last year knowing it could take a while before things started moving. Katherine and Josh also had to fill out a 40 page questionnaire during the process. The fact that these two decided to take on a child, especially one with special needs, shows that this isn't a joke for them. Clearly these two are serious and I couldn't be happier for them. Go Katherine!

Bye Bye Boyfriend!

When Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley (Sum 41) got married in 2006, people said it wouldn't last. Well their marriage lasted....for about 3 years that is. The news is out that Lavigne dumped Whibley and sent him packing out of their 9.5 million dollar home. Apparently these two couldn't cut it in the wonderful world of marriage. Poor guy lost his wife, then he lost his home....God only knows what she'll take from him next... his dignity? Oh wait, she already did that!

SWINE FLU!!!

Oh my God, the Swine Flu! Quick - everyone, panic! PANIC!! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Honestly, go run around outside, screaming about killer pigs, who are using germ warfare to take over the world. Doing so will attract men with tight, white coats to come take you away to a sterilized facility where it would be difficult for the curly-tailed monsters to come find you.

For the rest of you who like to be sane about things, there are a few things you can do to keep yourself safe. Wash your hands regularly, and, after you've touched a public hard surface made of plastic or metal (like the staircase/escalator handles at subway stations), use a germ-killing hand sanitizer. I recommend having one of the miniature ones on you at all times. Most importantly, because the flu spreads by going in through your nose or mouth to your throat: stop sucking your thumb and picking your nose.

So, im pretty much starting a new trend here which is joke of the week. Once in a while, you will be having a shitty day, and now you know you can rely on us to make you laugh. Heres our first week:

A woman and a man are involved in a car accident on a snowy, cold Monday morning; it's a bad one. Both of their cars are totally demolished but amazingly neither of them is hurt. God works in Mysterious ways.

After they crawl out of their cars, the woman says, "So.... you're a man. That's interesting. I'm a woman. Wow, just look at our cars! There's nothing left, but we're unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace for the rest of our days".

Flattered, the man replies, "Oh yes, I agree with you completely, this must be a sign from God!"

The woman continues, "And look at this, here's another miracle. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of wine didn't break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune. "Then she hands the bottle to the man.

The man nods his head in agreement, opens it and drinks half the bottle and then hands it back to the woman. The woman takes the bottle and immediately puts the cap back on, and hands it back to the man.

The man asks, "Aren't you having any?"

The woman replies, "No. I think I'll just wait for the police...."

Obama Sums Kanye Up

Do we not love Barack Obama? Just when you thought the president couldn't get any holier, he went and accurately described Kanye West with about two and a half words: "He's a jackass." Well put, Mr. President; you've just ensured the whole under-20 vote for the next election.

The closest thing any of our Canadian politicians have said came from Trudeau, who allegedly told some poor unfortunate MP to "F- off"... Here's hoping Obama rubbed off on Harper today...

The iPhones most underrated feature - Visual Voicemail

Visual Voicemail is a very innovative and fast way for smartphone users to access their voicemail. The iPhone visual voicemail is no exception, the feature itself does not recquire you to log into a voicemail account via phonecall instead, your messages are displayed on the phone itself. While this feature has been standard on all iPhone generations since launch, it is the most underappreaciated feature and least discussed.

This feature its not exclusive to the iPhone and can be found on many Blackberry models also.

Microsoft that they will be launching a limited edition Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 console alongside the launch of Modern Warfare 2. The console will boast a massive 250GB hard disk, two controllers and the Modern Warfare 2 standard edition game as welll. Pre-orders have already started in the USA and other regions are expected to follow later this week. In USA the bundle will be sold for $399 and in Canada it will sell for $429.99.

This is a great deal for those that wanted to get both an Xbox 360 and the Modern Warfare 2 game. Compared to buying the items seperately, the bundle is $30 cheaper and comes with 130GB more hard disk space.

Once a Jerk, Always a Jerk!

Well people, Kanye West has done it again. The MTV Video Music Awards took place last night and it was there that Taylor Swift won the award for Best Female Video. Taylor went on stage to accept her award from Kanye. About 30 seconds into her speech, Kanye grabbed the microphone from her and proceeded to tell everyone that Beyonce had the best video in the whole category implying that Beyonce really should have won the award. Coincidentally, the cameras then panned to Beyonce to see what her expression would be. Pure and utter surprise of course. Later in the show, Beyonce too won an award and while she went up on stage to accept the award, she was gracious enough to request the presence of Taylor on stage so she could finish the acceptance speech she started. Beyonce showed class and Kanye...well he's an A$$!

This year, the teens at Toronto's Eastern Commerce Collegiate Institute are starting classes an hour later than everyone else in the city as part of a pilot project to determine if getting some extra sleep actually improves not just their attendance, but their grades.

Dance, Ellen, Dance

It seems that there are a lot of people out there, besides me of course, that have a problem with Ellen's dance portion of her show. Let's face it, Ellen can't dance and there are a number of recording companies out there who say that Ellen shouldn't be dancing, to the songs produced by their artists. Ellen's producers have been stealing songs and using them on her show without permission. People, Ellen is worse than Napster. What bugs me is why it took the record companies so long to notice? I mean, her show has been around a while and everyone knows about the signature dance portion... it must suck to be Ellen now. Just when she was getting ready to go on American Idol, this had to come up. Come to think of it, what credentials does Ellen have to be on AI? Please don't tell me she's been singing... I don't think my ears could handle that!

October 2008 was around the time that Jay Sean made his official announcement that he would be signing a deal with Lil Wayne's Cash Money Records. What people don't know is that Jay Sean was actually the first South Asian artist to be signed on to Cash Money Records. The well known UK based singer was at one time supposed to be planning for med school but it seems that life took a different route for Jay Sean. USAIN BOLT GOT NOTHING ON THIS CHEETAH

You have to check this out. Right off the bat, this cheetah breaks the record of 6.19 seconds set by a south african cheetah in 2001. In the second run, the cheetah breaks its own record and brings it down to 6.13.

This is unbelieveable, and unfortunately cheetahs are endangered. Their population is rapidly declining. This is a remarkeable mammal, and we need to take action to save them. Check out this video if you dont believe me. absolutely amazing

Boo Hoo Chris Brown!

Chris Brown recently granted Larry King his first television interview since being sentenced for assaulting Rihanna. I, personally, didn't get a chance to see this interview but from what I've heard, it was anything but boring. Chris was accompanied by his mother and his attorney. Either during or soon after the interview was over, Chris made it a point to note how disappointed he was with Oprah Winfrey for her episode on domestic violence simply days after the report of the assault took place. Brown stated that he felt like he had been slapped in the face after everything he had done for Oprah. Brown mentioned how he went to Africa and sang at one of Oprah's schools so the least she could have done is been understanding and helpful to both sides. Um... last time I checked, Rihanna was the one that was literally slapped in the face so Brown needs to think twice before he starts runnin' his mouth like that...and against Oprah Winfrey too! You don't beat the crap out of a woman and then expect the world to respect you again..you have to earn it...and besides, it doesn't seem like Brown has been that genuine in his regret against what happened given the amount of partying he's been doing. Apologetic my ass!

Megan Fox Got No Respect for Nobody!

Megan Fox is at it again dissin' the hand that feeds her. In a recent interview with UK's Wonderland Magazine, Fox had the nerve to go after her Transformers director, Michael Bay. Fox went on to tell the world that her director was similar to the likes of Napolean and clearly was a tyrant when it came to directing his blockbuster movies. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the same man that gave this talentless bimbo a chance to star in his film? Isn't this the man that gave her the chance to be a celebrity even though she lacks lustre and respect? If this is how someone shows gratitude for being given the opportunity of a lifetime, then one need not say thank you. Maybe that's why she went from a hit movie like Transformers to a pathetic movie like "Jennifer's Body." Smart move Megan, smart move.

One way to be a better athlete is to practice, but it seems the Kardashian sisters have found another way. Their motto seems to be, if you can't play it, you might as well date it. It all started when Kim Kardashian started dating Reggie Bush, a well known football player. So it was only fair that her sister, Khloe, follow in her footseps. The only difference between the two is that Khloe seems to prefer basketball as she recently hooked up with none other than Lamar Odom of the Los Angeles Lakers. Apparently it doesn't take celebrities very long in going from dating to being a couple, which is apparently what these two are. Now if these sisters are anything alike, Khloe and Lamar do not have a bright future together. Well, there's always baseball!

The Colts quarterback came out No. 1 in Sporting News' annual ranking of the NFL's top 100 players. Don't take it from us; take it from the blue-ribbon voting panel of 106 experts we assembled. It included 27 Hall of Famers and past and present Pro Bowlers, executives and coaches.

Manning "really carries that team on his shoulders," said Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu, the highest-ranked Steeler at No. 9. "Guys like him and Tom Brady, the total success of the team relies totally on their performance, not necessarily a running game or a defense, for that matter. To have that pressure is one thing. To have that pressure and be successful is what makes him a great player."

Apples Latest Unvielings

Steve Job at the Apple conference announced the introduction of Itunes 9.0, an updated Ipod Touch and the brand new Ipod Nano.

The Nano recieves a much needed FM radio, camera and pedometer.

Madden 2010 for iPhone

If you don't have an iPhone or iTouch yet, this is reason enough to go buy one.

Although the hubbub over the console editions of Madden is fading, Electronic Arts is gearing up for the iPhone version of the football game. In addition to releasing the first screens of the game this morning, the game maker is fleshing out the details with a list of gameplay features. Madden NFL 10 for the iPhone will indeed include all 32 teams and full rosters of real-life players. The games will also take place inside recognizable stadiums.

One of the most intriguing Madden NFL 10 features, though, is action control time. This allows you to adjust the overall speed of the game, which should be extremely useful for newcomers or Madden aficionados getting used to playing the game with new touch-screen controls. The touch screen lets you draw out "hot routes" for passing and you tap receivers to pass the ball, using color-coded signals to spot who is open and who is not.

Another Child with Bleeding Eyes

Remember the video that we posted last week about the young man who's eyes would bleed randomly (See it Here.) Well, there's another video that has surfaced about a young girl in india who not only bleeds from her eyes, but her hands, heads, and feet aswell. I've never seen anything like this before, what do you guys think it could be?

U of T IS HAUNTED

This is obviously no laughing matter considering a woman is pronounced dead after this incident. However the idea of University of Toronto being haunted does make me laugh. Apparentley a man and woman were searching for ghosts on rooftops, and at one point tried to pull a Batman and jump from one building to another. They were searching for ghosts in a 134 year old building they believed was haunted. Read the story below

Ghost-hunting woman falls to death at U of T

A 29-year-old woman who police say was looking for ghosts was killed after falling three storeys at a University of Toronto building early Thursday.

Police arrived at 1 Spadina Cres. near College Street and Spadina Avenue at around 2 a.m. in response to reports of a man and woman trying to jump from one level of the building to another.

The man was able to make the jump, but the structure the woman was standing on gave way and she fell, police said. The woman was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The two were hunting for ghosts in the 134-year-old building, which they believed was haunted, according to police.

Police aren't sure if the two were consuming alcohol, but are questioning the man.
The identities of the two have not been released.

Lost World Found In Crater: 40+ New Species

What you are looking at is the Bosavi silky cuscus mammal (WTF?), it is one of 40 species that were recently discovered in a remote volcanic crater on the Pacific island of Papua New Guinea.

A team of scientists from Britain, the United States and Papua New Guinea found more than 40 previously unidentified species when they climbed into the kilometre-deep crater of Mount Bosavi and explored a pristine jungle habitat teeming with life that has evolved in isolation since the volcano last erupted 200,000 years ago. In a remarkably rich haul from just five weeks of exploration, the biologists discovered 16 frogs which have never before been recorded by science, at least three new fish, a new bat and a giant rat, which may turn out to be the biggest in the world.
