One Big Happy Family

Enjoy your first look at the newest addition of Katherine Heigl's family, Baby Naleigh. Katherine seems to have taken a page out of Angelina Jolie's book by taking on foreign adoption. Baby Naleigh is only 10 months old and was adopted from South Korea. Katherine has a close connection with Korea given that her sister was also adopted from there.  Little do you know that Naleigh is named after Katherine's sister Nancy and her sister Margaret Leigh. Her name has since been changed to Nancy Leigh. Normally I'm not a fan of celebrities going into foreign adoption because I've always felt they do it more for their celebrity status than the child. What I didn't know was that Katherine and her husband, Josh Kelly, have been preparing for this since last year knowing it could take a while before things started moving. Katherine and Josh also had to fill out a 40 page questionnaire during the process. The fact that these two decided to take on a child, especially one with special needs, shows that this isn't a joke for them. Clearly these two are serious and I couldn't be happier for them. Go Katherine!
