Closed on Monday

* Most malls, grocery stores and supermarkets
* LCBO and beer stores
* Government offices, banks, libraries
* No mail delivery
* TTC and GO on holiday schedule

Open on Monday

* Merchants in designated tourist areas: Queen's Quay, Yorkville, downtown Yonge St., including Eaton Centre
* Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
* Pacific Mall in Markham, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Monday Events

* CNE gates close at 5 p.m. Buildings stay open until 7 p.m. Casino open till 8 p.m. Midway open to 9 p.m. Grounds close at 10 p.m.
* Brazilian Day Canada Festival at Yonge-Dundas Square, 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., free
* Hispanic Fiesta, Mel Lastman Square
* Labour Day Parade starts at Queen St. and University Ave. at 9:30 a.m. and proceeds along Queen to Dufferin St., then south to the Dufferin Gate at the CNE

Road closures

* South and northbound lanes on University Ave. from Dundas St. W. to Richmond St. W. will be closed for Labour Day Parade.
